  • BIG.NINE CF3 FRAME

    XC focused carbon frame (approx. 1.29 kg BIG.NINE – M). Aero profiled down tube, leaf spring profiled chain and seat stays for comfort. BB92 bottom bracket. Boost axle standard and tapered head tube deliver stiffness and steering precision. ‘Smart Entry’ cable routing prevents rattling. Includes integrated down tube and chainstay protectors for extra frame protection.

    THIS IS WHAT WE DO

    Our classic hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we were able to gain in 47 years of bike production and manufacturing. The BIG.NINE and BIG.SEVEN range symbolises the symbiosis between modern frame technology, attention to detail and craftsmanship ‘Made in Taiwan’.

    MULTIPLE FRAME OPTIONS

    Following in the footsteps of BIG.NINE/SEVEN TFS frame which was introduced in 2018, the SPEED frame also received a makeover for the 2019 season. The introduction of slim tube shapes creates a new look and a more relaxed geometry, through a shorter top tube and a higher head tube, resulting in a more upright riding position and enhanced trail visibility. The new frame also comes with IS brake mounts that are positioned within the rear triangle as well as with kickstand and fender mounts.

    SIZE SPECIFIC WHEELS

    Dependent on frame size we offer 650B or 29er versions on our TFS and SPEED frame level. The requirements of smaller riders (reduced standover height, preferred lower cockpit) are best met by 650B on S and M frame sizes whilst at the other side of the spectrum, L and XL only come with 29er wheels. Size M is available in either 650B or 29er.

    DROPPER POST READY

    All models down to the BIG.NINE LITE frame level feature a 30.9 mm seatpost, the enhanced connection area increases the strength around the top tube/seat tube join and allows the option of fitting a dropper seat post. Models down to BIG.NINE LIMITED allow internal cable routing for the dropper post while the remaining models would require external routing.

    SMART ENTRY

    Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails and roads get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

    MODERN HARDTAIL GEOMETRY

    Our carbon (CF) and aluminium (LITE) models feature a long 422 mm reach, steep 73,5° seat angle, slack 70° head angle and an 80 mm stem (frame size M), affording the next generation XC geometry. Aggressive agility meets stable calmness; perfect for today’s demanding courses.

    Superlight, using the highest quality carbon fibres and an EPS core (frame weight approx. 880 g BIG.NINE – M, including paint) making it one of the lightest frames in the market.   • MODERN MARATHON GEOMETRY

    The ONE-TWENTY RC has a very low standover height, giving the rider ample space to manoeuvre when the terrain demands it. It slightly steeper seat and head angle (in comparison to the ONE-TWENTY) provides even more efficiency and a more marathon specific trail behaviour. The short travel rear
    end, make the bike an even more uncompromising climber than its bigger brother.

    ONE-TWENTY RC CF4 FRAME

    Full carbon frame incorporating ‘Nano Matrix’ technology for additional impact resistance. ‘Smart Entry’ cable clamping system for rattle free running. Tapered head tube for precise steering, Boost standard and rear through axle for rear end stiffness. The floating rear shock provides 100 mm of travel.

    LOCK THEM UP

    When hitting steam climbs in a marathon race, you want to be able to quickly lock out the front fork without taking your hands off the controls. So, all our ONE-TWENTY RC come with remote lockout, allowing you to lock out the fork from a leaver on your handlebars. The rear shock lockout is positioned on the shock to keep the cockpit clean and manageable.

    MARATHON FOCUS

    The more marathon focused version offers 100 mm of rear wheel travel combined with a 120 mm suspension fork, resulting in a steeper seat and head angle, making the RC even more pedalling efficient and more agile on twisty courses.

    FLOAT LINK SUSPENSION
    STEALTH DROPPER SEATPOST

    A dropper post is allowing the rider to get the saddle out of the way when the gradient gets steeper, giving him/her more space to manoeuver and control over their bike. The fitted dropper posts featuring internal cable routing and remote levers, creating a cleaner look and allowing easier ‘on the go’ saddle height adjustment.

    RACE PROVEN

    Not just race proven by the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM in their final 2016 season but still competed on by living mountain bike legends like Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjå and José Antonio Hermida who are looking for lightning fast acceleration, great climbing and descending ability as well as super low weight.
